Career & Education

You are a student, pupil or young professional with an interest in railway technology? Then take the chance and talk directly to the global players, small- and medium-sized companies, specialized associations and universities about current job vacancies and traineeships, job profiles and fields of work! HR experts will also be on hand to show you what a perfect application folder looks like and how to convince employers from yourself as the right candidate for them.

We welcomed some 3 000 students from various countries including Sweden, Russia, Korea, Japan and China at last InnoTrans. You too could take advantage of InnoTrans to launch your successful career!

Pavilion

The Career Pavilion is the key area of the Career & Education Hall. In addition to their booth in one of our 41 exhibition halls, the exhibitors are on-site with their HR-experts at the Career Pavilion. Talk directly to the recruiters and convince them that you are the perfect candidate for them and their company.

Forum

The exhibitors will inform you about their companies and career opportunities in the industry at the Career Forum. Listen to the lectures and panel discussions organized by the exhibiting companies and participate in information sessions.

Throughout the whole trade fair, the Career Point with its circular logo acts for you as a signal and guide at the same time. The Career Point marks all companies at InnoTrans, who inform about careers directly at their stands. Use the InnoTrans app and the Virtual Market Place® to figure out which exhibitors you would like to visit and then create your own personal route. During InnoTrans 2016 more than 60 exhibitors marked their booth with a Career Point.

Career Tours

At InnoTrans we offer you daily guided Career Tours. The tours will lead you to the exhibitors outside the Career & Education Hall who marked their booth with a Career Point. Competent staff will be on hand to inform you about career opportunities and how to enter the industry. Take advantage of this chance and get into direct contact with potential employers and experience their products and services at first hand.

The global employment market at a glance – another highlight InnoTrans offers. Use the Jobwall in the Career & Education Hall 7.1c to gain a quick overview of current and international job vacancies in the rail industry and discuss interesting offers with employers directly on-site.

Find more vacancies within the online job market “SchienenJobs” – a project of Allianz pro Schiene e.V. Here you can find more than 2.000 current jobs relating to the railway industry.

As student, pupil or trainee you have got the possibility to purchase reduced tickets for InnoTrans.

Buy your tickets directly on-site at the exhibition grounds by presenting a valid student or pupil ID card.

  • Entrance: Use Entrance 9 – this is the shortest way to the Career & Education Hall
  • Admission:
    • Discounted entrance for students, pupils and apprentices on presentation of a valid student or pupil ID card
    • Do you have a voucher from “ZukunftsbrancheBahn” magazine? Then simply exchange it at the entrance for a day ticket
    • The day ticket also includes use of public transport in the Berlin ABC tariff zone
