Benefits for students, pupils and young professionals

  • Discounted entrance on presentation of a valid student or pupil ID card
  • Career & Education Hall as a central meeting point
  • Direct contact to recruiters & HR experts
  • Guided Career Tours

The Career & Education Hall 7.1c is the place to head at InnoTrans. This is where companies and associations who support young people and wish to make direct contact with you will be represented. It is where you can meet prospective future employers, visit lectures by exhibitors at the Career Forum and find out about the latest job vacancies on our Job Wall. All these opportunities are available in the Career & Education Hall under the heading ’Creating a successful future together’.

Pavilion

Inside the Career & Education Hall the place to visit is the Career Pavilion. This is where you can find human resource experts from companies who, besides exhibiting in one of the 41 halls, will have information on careers and opportunities with them. In the run-up to InnoTrans you can find out about exhibitors from our Virtual Market Place® and afterwards meet personnel managers directly at the trade fair, where you can make an impression and convince them you are the right person for a job in their company.

Career Pavilion exhibitors 2016:

Forum

At lectures and panel discussions exhibitors will have information on their company, career prospects and opportunities. Lectures will take place several times a day and simultaneous interpreting into English and German will be provided. Exhibitors will also take part in informal meetings where they will be available for questions and have information on career prospects with their company.

The Career Point is also a part of our Career Concept, and wherever you are at the trade fair it will act as a signpost pointing the way. If you see the Career Point logo on an exhibitor’s stand area then this is where you can obtain information about opportunities in that company. You can also use the InnoTrans app and Virtual Market Place® at your leisure to put together your own personal tour of Career Point exhibitors. At InnoTrans 2016 the stand areas of more than 60 exhibitors bore the Career Point logo.

Career Point
Career Tours

Daily guided tours are another service for students, and they are free! The Career Tours will stop in on the stand areas of exhibitors with the Career Point logo. Qualified partners will have information on their respective company as well as job and career prospects. This will provide a perfect opportunity to make first contact with exhibitors and arrange a personal meeting on the company’s stand later on.

Our Job Wall in the Career & Education Hall has the latest job vacancies from every exhibitor at a glance. Get an overview of rail industry job offers in Germany and abroad and meet up directly with the respective personnel managers to talk about interesting vacancies.

The online job market at the Virtual Market Place® is the ideal way to prepare for a meeting ahead of InnoTrans. As of summer 2018 this is where you will find all available job vacancies.

Job Wall

In case you are already in search of a job in the rail transport sector then why not take a look at the ’Rail jobs’ website, a project organised by Allianz pro Schiene e.V., where there are more than 4,000 job vacancies on offer.

As student, pupil or trainee you have got the possibility to purchase reduced tickets for InnoTrans.

Buy your ticket directly on-site at the exhibition grounds by presenting a valid student or pupil ID card at a price of 13.00 EUR.
