Customer requirements have changed. Real-time information on seamless travel chains around the clock are expected, and there are a whole range of different offerings available. On-demand shared taxis, bikes for hire, car sharing and public transport are only a touch away. New apps and service providers will be an everyday feature of travel in future, recommending routes, means of transport and mobility chains. The customer expects tickets, reserved parking spaces and alternatives when there are delays – and wants to be able to pay for them all together. The smartphone is becoming the ignition key of the future.

Do we need new mobility services to meet the rising demand for transport in urban areas, or do we put the reliability of public transport at risk by doing that? Or is public transport changing and becoming more flexible? How is public transport developing as a brand? What do we need to put in place in order to improve transport not just in urban areas but rural areas as well? We invite you to discuss these and other issues with you.
