Mobility Cleaning Circle
InnoTrans and CMS Berlin invited industry members to the first Mobility Cleaning Circle
On 21 September the first Mobility Cleaning Circle took place on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds at CMS Berlin. The two trade fairs InnoTrans and CMS Berlin had invited members of the international railway industry and cleaning sector to an exclusive networking event on cleanliness as a quality aspect and one of the factors defining a transport company’s image. Some 80 representatives of the railway industry and cleaning sector accepted the invitation, including from railway companies in Germany (DB AG, DB Services GmbH, Hamburger Hochbahn and Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG, among others) Italy (Ferrovie dello Stato - Trenitalia Spa), Korea (SEOUL METRO / Urban Railway R&D Center), New Zealand (Transdev), the Netherlands (NedTrain), Hungary (MÀV), and Russia (Joint Stock Company Federal Passenger Company).
After a brief welcome from Messe Berlin GmbH and the non-commercial sponsors of CMS the attendees had an opportunity to exchange views with senior executives of both industries at a business lunch, before taking part in a guided tour of the fair. The first stop was one of the highlights of the tour. It featured a professional demonstration by DB Services GmbH of how to remove graffiti from a train. This was followed by a tour of manufacturers exhibiting systems and chemicals for cleaning vehicles at CMS 2017.
The new networking format was a success and will take place again at CMS 2019.
