Four top teams compete to win the first prize. Who will be crowned 1st place for The HackTrain Hackathon Powered by InnoTrans?

A hackathon is a competition where designers, developers and entrepreneurs get together to collectively build prototypes that solve challenges using data, APIs and hardware!

These participants are collectively called ‘hackers’ but don’t worry... They’re not hacking in the illegal sense! Instead they produce creative and novel prototypes using technology, data and hardware, often working through the night to get their ‘hack’ ready to pitch to the judges who pick a winner or winners.

HackTrain is an initiative to innovate the rail industry organized by Hack Partners!
They run arguably the craziest hackathons to tackle the major challenges of the rail industry.

For HackTrain 4.0 last year, they tackled 3 different themes: Customer Experience & Rolling Stock, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity and Policy & Performance.
