Your understanding that large and particularly heavy exhibits must be delivered/collected before/after this period is much appreciated.

Access limitations for halls with direct connections to the tracks (1.2b, 2.2b, 3.2a, 4.2a, hub27 / hall 27, Outdoor Display)

In order to ensure that trade fair preparations go smoothly, we recommend that you take advantage of the first setting-up days from Tuesday (17 September) up to and including Saturday (21 September) respectively at the latest Sunday (22 September) with the aid of a special exemption to the ban on driving heavy goods vehicles in Germany on Sundays.

Traffic Guide

A detailed explanation of the traffic concept and the regulations for accessing the exhibition grounds can be found in our traffic guide.

Stand construction & Services

Walls adjacent to aisles used by visitors must be brightened up by the installation of showcases, niches, displays or similar items in order to document the open character as one of the event’s exhibition stands. The closed area of an aisle wall may not exceed 30% and must include graphic designs on the aisle side.

Stand rear walls with a construction height ≥ 2.50 m adjoining neighbouring stands must be kept neutral so that they do not have an adverse effect on the design of the neighbouring stand. The tenant must install a stable white partition wall without joints or advertising against the directly adjacent neighbouring stand.

Please note that approval must be obtained from the technical department in such cases:

Construction inspection will be carried out on 23 September 2024 by the technical department. Please note that all construction work on stands should be completed by this date.

We recommend that all exhibitors insure their exhibition goods for the duration of the trade fair; during delivery to and removal from site and during any interim or subsequent storage. Messe Berlin GmbH does not accept any liability whatsoever relating to individuals or objects vis-à-vis exhibitors, their vicarious agents or individuals working for them, or for visitors should an event causing damage occur on an exhibition stand. This applies in particular to damages and losses to goods which the exhibitor has brought with him (including stand fixtures).

Please visit the BECO webshop should you wish to order insurance cover.

In accordance with Sect. 15 Para. 2 German Design Act (DesignG); Sect. 6a Para. 2 German Utility Model Act (GebrMG) and Sect. 35 Para. 1 No. 2, Para. 3 German Trademark Act (MarkenG) international property right (IPR) protection is granted annually for designs, utility models and trademarks exhibited at the InnoTrans.

This IPR protection ensures that the IPR of any new product presented by an exhibitor during the trade fair are protected not only from the date on which it is registered with the German Patent and Trademark Office, but rather from the first day of presentation at the trade fair. The prerequisite for making use of this priority is, however, that the application for registration is submitted within a period of 6 months from the first day of presentation at the trade fair.

Note: This priority cannot be claimed for patents!
