All my ideas about rail transport have evolved after my visit as a Career Award winner at InnoTrans. I was impressed by all the dynamic business leaders who so generously shared their insights, know-how and the variety of opportunities for career starters like me.

How did you experience the event in digital format as opposed to the analogue Boost in 2022?
"I was very surprised how smoothly and flawlessly the virtual format went over. And that despite the fact that we had applicants from distant countries with us. The applicants were all super prepared and delivered great pitches in the livestream. The virtual version is not easy for everyone involved - after all, you don't get direct feedback from an audience, but the digital boost makes it possible for us to also connect applicants from abroad. Both formats definitely have their raison d'être."
Do you think it makes sense to continue offering the digital boost in the interim year of InnoTrans? What advantages can that bring?
"Yes, it definitely makes sense. The digital boost is an opportunity for many talents from all over the world who would otherwise not have the chance to pitch in front of such an audience/ in front of so many recruiters at the same time. The virtual and the analogue Career Boost are an enrichment for the whole industry and should definitely take place on an annual basis."
