30 years of InnoTrans – Discover our anniversary highlights
For 30 years, InnoTrans has been bringing the international mobility industry together in Berlin. What began in 1996 as a trade fair for transport technology has developed into the world’s leading platform for innovation, exchange and future-oriented mobility topics. To mark its 30th anniversary, InnoTrans 2026 looks back on three successful decades full of technological milestones, groundbreaking developments and international encounters – whilst also looking ahead to the future.

The InnoTrans Anniversary T-shirt
To mark the 30th anniversary, a limited-edition InnoTrans T-shirt is available in sizes XS to XXL – exclusively on site in Hall 13, while stocks last.
Exhibitors will receive two vouchers each for free T-shirts, which will be included in their exhibitor bag at the stand. Visitors can purchase the T-shirt at a special price of €25.
Online orders are not possible – T-Shirts will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Anniversary Night – InnoTrans goes Asia
On the evening of 24 September, InnoTrans is hosting its Anniversary Night - InnoTrans goes Asia at the Marshall-Haus. This exclusive evening event brings together invited guests from the international transport industry for speeches, dinner and networking in a special atmosphere.
The Anniversary Night – InnoTrans goes Asia is part of the programme marking InnoTrans’s 30th anniversary and is by invitation only.

Illuminated radio tower
Throughout the exhibition, Berlin’s Radio Tower will be illuminated in the colours of InnoTrans. The landmark at the exhibition grounds will thus serve as a visible symbol of the anniversary – even beyond the grounds themselves.
Young Generation-Stammtisch
On 24 September, InnoTrans will bring together young professionals from the mobility sector. The Young Generation-Stammtisch is aimed at young professionals and junior members of international industry associations aged 35 and under, and offers the opportunity for cross-sector networking in a relaxed atmosphere.
The event will take place as part of the InnoTrans Campus and is by invitation only.

Pioneers-Stammtisch
Alongside the Young Generation get-together, InnoTrans is inviting experienced industry representatives to the Pioneers get-together. This event provides a space for discussion and networking amongst like-minded individuals with long-standing ties to InnoTrans.

Social media – 30 years of InnoTrans
On LinkedIn and the other InnoTrans channels, a variety of formats will mark the anniversary: highlights from three decades of the trade fair’s history, video messages from exhibitors, and a video series looking back at the history of InnoTrans. Exhibitors celebrating their own company anniversaries will also be part of the campaign.
Anniversary playlist
To mark InnoTrans 2026, there is a curated playlist featuring classics about trains, buses and travel – from Kraftwerk to the Beatles, and from Udo Lindenberg to Ray Charles. The playlist will accompany the anniversary celebrations on InnoTrans’s digital channels.
30th-anniversary logo
To mark its anniversary, InnoTrans 2026 will feature a specially designed anniversary logo in gold. It will appear on all print and digital materials relating to the trade fair, highlighting the event’s 30th anniversary.
#InnoTrans30 – XXL letters on the exhibition grounds
Oversized letters will be on display in the forecourt at the South Entrance and in the Summer Garden throughout the fair. They serve as photo opportunities for visitors and exhibitors alike, bringing the anniversary celebrations to life on the exhibition grounds.
