University Day

The motto of the InnoTrans Friday is "University Day". The University Day gives universities and the corresponding courses of study a platform to present current case studies, research projects or even approaches to solutions, for example, or to discuss them in an open forum.

Dialog Forum - Spotlight on Talent: Attracting skilled workers, maximizing potential, shaping rail transportation

Also on InnoTrans Friday, from 10.00 a.m. - 12.00 a.m., a dialog forum will take place at palais.Berlin with a special focus on the topic of skilled workers. The forum is organized by the German Railway Industry Association (VDB) and the Verband Deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen (VDV).

You can find more information about the program on the Talent Stage, the Eurailpress Career Boost or the dialog forums on InnoTrans Plus.

Eurailpress Career Boost

Together with InnoTrans, Eurailpress is organizing the Eurailpress Career Boost for the third time.

The Eurailpress Career Boost turns the game around: Instead of companies presenting their job offers, young talents introduce themselves to the companies. This makes young talent visible for the rail industry and allows them to present themselves directly and easily to potential employers.

The entire format will take place as a purely on-site event at InnoTrans 2024. The event will be streamed via InnoTrans Plus for interested viewers.

The new recruiting concept gives applicants the chance to introduce themselves to potential employers from the rail industry in 90 seconds. In the 90 seconds, each participant presents him/herself: Who am I, what training do I have, what sets me apart, what do I want to achieve and what is my motivation to work in the rail industry? Afterwards, company representatives have the opportunity to talk to the applicants in person.

We're turning the game around! - Register now and follow the link on the graphic. The Kickstart for your career.
Application deadline is July 24, 2024.

In cooperation with Eurailpress, we are offering you the unique opportunity to use the Talent Stage for your job search in the following areas:

  • Technical professions
(e.g. plant mechanics, railway construction site managers, draughtsmen)
  • Engineers
(e.g. civil engineer, electrical engineer, railway operations and infrastructure engineer)
  • IT
(e.g. software architects, software developers, geoinformatics specialists)
  • Operational professions
(e.g. professional drivers, train drivers, shunting supervisors)
  • Commercial professions
(e.g. controllers, dispatchers/operations planners, strategic buyers)

Jobwall

On our job wall, all vacancies of our exhibiting companies can be seen at a glance. This gives job seekers the opportunity to browse through the ads on site at the RecruitingLAB.

The ads can also be displayed directly online via a QR code.

The InnoTrans Plus digital job wall displays the companies' job offers and offers interested parties the opportunity to find a job in the mobility industry.
